Lincoln Park, now nearly 7 years old, is in need of some attention to keep it looking as good as the day it was dedicated. Among these projects include painting of the wrought-iron fence, re-staining the gazebo and fountain trellis, and rejuvenatiing the landscaping. In addition to these projects, Main Street is looking into costs associated with installing drivet on the south wall of the park (see picture). The paint on the wall is constantly peeling, and the installation of drivet should help keep the wall maintenance-free and looking good for many years.
For information on making a contribution to these projects, please contact the Main Street office at 618-283-8751.
