CORN DAY 5K RUN CANCELED


Put on your running shoes and get ready for Vandalia Main Street’s Corn Day 5K on September 26th, 2009. Corn Day 5K is a 5K Run / Walk through Vandalia streets and ends up downtown, just in time for CORN DAYS!! The road race is designed to be fun for both experienced runners and novices. Medals and cash prizes will be awarded to the top three men and top three women overall. Prizes will be $75, $50 and $25 for first, second and third place, respectively. Medals will be awarded to the top three winners in the Youth Fun Run as well.

The Youth Half Mile Fun Run for ages 6-12 begins at 8:00am followed by the 5K Run / Walk at 8:40am. Registration will be race day from 7:00am – 8:00am at Vandalia Main Street's Lincoln Park in Downtown Vandalia. Entry fees are $15 for the Youth Fun Run and $25 for the 5K Run/Walk. All race entries received by September 18th will receive a free t-shirt!
